A Labrador retriever has been blamed for crashing a tractor-trailer.

Police say the pooch accidentally popped the idling vehicle into gear while the driver was inside a nearby store along U.S. Highway 169 in Mankato, Minnesota, on Friday afternoon, KMSP reports.

The truck reportedly rolled out of a trailer sales business’ parking lot, across North River Drive, and mounted a curb close to a Kwik Trip gas station — striking a tree and a parked car.

A passerby then jumped into the cab and managed to put it into park.

But he was stunned to find no one inside the cab — and only the dog sat in the driver’s seat, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Incredibly, there no injuries. No citations were issued.

“In my career I’ve not had an accident reported like this one,” Mankato Police operations commander Daniel Schisel told Fox 9.

According to KEYC News 12, the Minnesota State Patrol inspected the scene and later placed the vehicle out of service. The reason has not yet been revealed.
