Earlier this year, Hope For Paws, an animal rescue based out of California, received a tip that a wolf was walking the streets of Los Angeles. When the team found the animal, later named Julia, she was suffering from mange, multiple bacterial infections and malnutrition.
Hope for Paws took Julia to the hospital, where she was cleaned up and treated for her wounds. A week later, she was placed in a foster home and was hardly recognizable as the dog picked up off the streets.
The rescue announced in their video that Julia was rescued just a few weeks later, and DNA testing shows that she’s not a wolf after all, but part German shepherd and Siberian husky.
Look at that happy pup!
